Luisa & VictorWho are we?  It could be easy to answer.  Married for 29 years.  Victor: English.  Luisa: Portuguese. (Lot's of cross-cultural fun!)  Of course, there's a lot more than that. We're a family that enjoys life and enjoys sharing.  That's really the reason for this website.  It just shares a little bit of us and what we feel is important. We hope you enjoy it.  If you want the more boring bits you can read them below.

Victor is an international broadcaster, lecturer, trainer and minister.  With 31 years experience working in Britain as well as international travels across the world in North America, Africa and Asia, he brings with him a wealth of experience. In addition to working as a church pastor in England,  from 1998 until  2004 Victor worked with Adventist World Radio as director of the Global English Service. This role took him back to his roots as he started in ministry as a volunteer with AWR Europe back in 1979. Based in Portugal at that time, it was also the place where he found Luisa. Leaving AWR he worked briefly (and enjoyably) as a pastor in Southern England before taking responsibility as Executive Secretary for the South England Conference of Seventh-day Adventists in March 2005. In July 2006 he was elected as the Communication Director for the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Britain and Ireland. He also hosts "In Conversation" for the international broadcasting network, The Hope Channel.    Click here for a topical sermon idea.  Hobbies include hiking, biking, kayaking, reading, camping and photography.

Luisa enjoying the outdoor lifeLuisa loves children and is working on craft activities and helps those churches working with children.  She also loves her garden. Currently she works as a nursery assistant with some 20+ children who get very excited every time they see her.

Both Victor and Luisa have a passion for ministry, for working with children and youth, and for seeing lives changed for the better.  Currently they reside in Bracknell, England, with two of their three children, Tim and Amy as well as two dogs.  Their oldest son, Steven, is married to Jena and is a youth worker in Cornwall. Hobbies include hiking, reading, DIY, camping and gardening.  Luisa also claims Victor is addicted to his computer.
